Delivery Policy

 
At Flowers On Top we use a local delivery service.
We have pick ups from our downtown location in the morning and afternoon. We will typically offer a 2-4 hour window to the recipient when coordinating a time for delivery as the delivery service we use works with multiple local flower shops and must coordinate their routes.
 
All business orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance to ensure we can send the order out on the morning delivery.
 
Please note that around the busy Holiday seasons our delivery service will need a larger window of time for delivery, we will prioritize businesses to go out on the morning delivery and call all recipients ahead of time to streamline the process.
 
Depending on the volume of orders on the day we can try for a same day delivery to a home or condo, please call us at 250-383-5262 as same day delivery will not be available on the website.
 
Flowers On Top must call all addresses with a unit number to ensure that the recipient is home. For stand alone home deliveries we will attempt to deliver; if no one answers and it is safe to do so, we will leave the order at the door and call the recipient to let them know the time and location the flowers were left. If the driver is uncertain of leaving the order, we will leave a voice message with the recipient and find an alternative time to deliver. ** Multiple attempts can lead to additional charges to the sender.
 
**If we are dealing with freezing temperatures flowers will not be able to be left at the door so all recipients will need to be contacted in advance to determine a good window of time for delivery. The recipient may choose to recieve the flowers on a later date and we will adjust the order date as they request.
 
If a recipient of a condo/apartment isn't able to call Flowers On Top  by 2pm, we will wait until the next day (or until we have connected) to send out the flowers on delivery. 
 
It is the responsibility of the sender to ensure that the recipient lives or works at the address given and that phone numbers given are in working order.
